From the lower foothills of the North Texas plains, The Lonesome Johnson Boys grew up on Granny's moonshine, red-eye gravy and banjo pickin'. Granny loved hearing her grand kids and great grand kids play music with her on the front porch, and they loved watching her dance. Every year at Christmas, they'd buy her a case of snuff and a new wooden leg, as she would grind it to a nub from dancing by the end of the year. Granny and her banjo playing ain't with us no more, but the music lives on. Y'all come hear us play sometime.
